IMPORTANT: It is required to complete the registration before your child can attend his/her first math club meeting. Due to demand, our sessions fill up quickly and we cannot guarantee that your child will have a spot once we fill up. If a class is full please put your child on the waiting list. Putting your child on the waiting list helps us prepare and coordinate how best to accommodate more students.
Eligibility:
Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are eligible.
Tuition:
Your tuition includes instruction, supplies, curriculum materials, entry fees to all contests, food/snacks at contents, competition awards, T-shirts, and any other legitimate expenses associated with competitive math.
Our goal is that no student should be prevented from joining Math Club due to the cost. For information on partial scholarships, please contact MP Family Advocate Annie Gage at annie.gage@shorelineschools.org or (206) 393-1768
Expectations:
Students are expected to show good behavior at all times, so that everyone in the class can learn. PTSA Before/After School Policy and MP expectations apply at all times. Students should follow directions and give their best effort. Weekly homework will be assigned.
Parents are expected to volunteer. When your coach requests volunteer help, please respond. There are volunteer opportunities in the classroom (coach, room parent), at contests (chaperone, scorer, …), and in some cases from home. Also, parents will be responsible for arranging transportation to offsite contests.
Please register at 6crickets
